I only tune in to local politics. I’ve mostly ignored federal politics for the last 15 years. My quality of life has only improved.
I’m working on a doctorate related to the penal/carceral system so I immerse myself in a lot of really depressing data, reports and books regularly. I don’t need to know what wealthy clowns who don’t know I exist are up to in DC
