How long before China starts their invasion of territories?

The title is the message. We have a weak, weak leader in place, and a cognitively failing man in the Oval Office chair. Anyone who believes Biden is calling any of the shots is blind, incompetent, or both.

Yeah, they won’t do shite before the Beijing Winter Olympics. No one loves the Olympics more than the Chinese. However what I think we should do is still say we’re going to the Beijing Olympics, but the week after the Tokyo Olympics will pull the rug out from under them and say we’re not going. That’s going to be fricking hilarious if we do that especially when they show up to the country’s Olympics that they hate the most.

Taiwan is 80 miles off the coast from China. They don’t need carriers for this. They can make multiple trips per day between China and Taiwan.

China and Taiwan are both populated by Chinese people but they have different governments. What difference does it make to me whether the bigger government covers 98% of the Chinese people or 100% of the Chinese people?

First off you should have a major problem with the way China is treating its own people. Secondly, no, Taiwan is a free country that stands for justice, and it’s an absolutely infuriating experience to travel there once you’ve been to China because you know this is how China would be if Kai-Shek had beaten Mao. No, Taiwan is Poland in this, and frick you for your level of heartlessness towards them. If China takes Taiwan, millions on both sides will be killed for it. And China won’t care because they have 34 million more men than women, so China actually wants these men to be canon fodder. It’s just despicable as is your line of thought.

Dude they’re like right next to each other. You saying they need a couple of carriers to do this is ridiculous. Do you think Britain and the US needed some to take down Germany? No, it’d just be a nice target that the enemy would almost certainly destroy. Carriers are completely irrelevant in taking Taiwan.
Plus China does not give a frick about their people dying. It’s like Vader giving a frick about the loss of his Stormtroopers and TIE Fighters. No fricks given. This is Xi’s strategy for taking Taiwan at worst.

But I don't care enough about Taiwan that I want the US to get into a war with China over it. It's not worth the lives of my people. I sure as hell don't want my son dying for Taiwan. I doubt china can do it.
they wont nuke Taiwan.
to take it by force would be a long mess and the UN would have to shut off trade. bad for all.

The Korean war proved that the Chinese are willing to sacrifice thousands to not even win, but to make a stalemate happen. . If they want to win they have 1.3 billion people and at minimum half of them are expendable to their leadership.

What’s the bar that we go to war with China? Releasing a worldwide plague that ruined the world? Sorry, we’re going to have to face them sooner or later. The showdown is either inevitable or the US kills itself. There is no third option.
