A huge swath of the population is begging at intersections in every city. Being a worthless bum is a full time job but is under the table.

They're all over ATL. Not just in the city either. Up in the burbs, at every offramp and intersection. Some feign a limp or use some stray dog as a sympathy crutch, but they're cons. All of them.

Yeah they’re all over Houston and occasionally make it out to the suburbs. Usually just on the feeder roads near the major highways. I hate them all except for the very rare few who are really handicapped. Like I’ll see one without legs or something. But frick all the able bodied trash beggars.

Wouldn’t seeing lots of places being in need of employees and unable to find them be exactly what one would expect with low unemployment?

Enough businesses to make such an impact haven’t opened in the last couple years you disingenuous shite.

2 things, the cyber verse pays people to stay at home and push and sell propaganda to the masses. They edit content, post fake reviews, and a myriad of shady business practices. Why go to work when you can do it from home. Secondly, they lie. Those numbers are way too low to be real. Anyone whose is in a big market can see the shortage first hand.

Plenty of stores, banks, fast food places, etc. all open at least an hour later because they don't have the people.

Unemployment isn’t low. People ran out of their unemployment money so the number of people on unemployment is low.

seeing it all over. Grocery stores, fast food places, etc... 'Hiring' signs everywhere, and we're supposed to believe we're really @ 3.6% unemployment ? I don't believe it.

These are all places where you actually have to show up for work and can not be Zoomed. People do NOT want to go back to work after the handouts. Once you get a taste of the sedentary life and getting paid, why would they want to return to the old ways?

And when we have 2+ million NEW illegals

when you think about it, the illegals are now living the American dream. we hired a painter who quoted us around 5k for 3 weeks (working by himself.. pretty sure he's illegal). great guy. did a great job. no I'll will towards him at all. but fck. I make over 150k and he's pushing what I clear because of taxes and bs programs. it's insane.

Someone is obviously giving them something or they wouldn’t keep doing it.

I never will.

I hosting a job fair and the companies I talked to said they could easily hire 3 to 4 people today making over $15 hr with benefits.

One hiring mgr said the young people start and quit the same day once they figure out it is work. Then they want their check for an our or two of work right now.

The young people are not showing up or people wanting to switch careers.

I don’t know where they are at either.

Kind of similar to where is Waldo except it is where is the job seeker.

If you do not report yourself as unemployed… you do not count. Under the way unemployed are now counted… you could have the same 3.6% unemployment in the heart of a bad recession. If no one looks for a job.. they don’t count.
