Correct
Sadly as both sides blame the other side while they continue to empty your wallet and resolve nothing.

I think they had good intentions but sometime around the 1960’s, the democrats decided they weren’t fricking around. It really started with the Kennedys but when LBJ championed the civil rights movement, they began a long drawn out era of mostly special interests coupled with outright domination. Reagan was lucky enough to be there during the dems vulnerable years in the 80’s, but that was around the time when they decided they’d be solely relegated to the “party of opposition”. Just be the OTHER guys. It worked enough to ping pong W in for 2 terms but I think after that, the only priority is to keep any third parties from emerging and moving in on their 2 party territory… their other priority is doing absolutely fricking nothing.
They believe you can just talk and that’s it. Go on tv and talk. Go on the hill and talk. Go talk in interviews, go talk on talk shows, podcasts, etc. No legislation necessary. Then they became above using impeachments as quid pro quo and as of now, they’re complete spineless pieces of shite.
I personally feel betrayed by them as a party. I’m not voting for Trump because he’s a Republican. I’m voting for him because he’s Trump.
Post Trump, I’m interested in watching where they go but I have a feeling I will support them vastly less and less.
It’s time for them to adapt or die.
