We should all be sending our kids to private school, even if it means living in a 1992 single wide in order to afford it, but most of us don’t - myself included.

The public school system is one of the most dangerous enemies America faces today.

How does a publicly funded school get around the first amendment?
There are limitations on speech in public schools under the Tinker precedent and it’s subsequent decisions.
That said, this is an extraordinary step by trying to extend those rules outside of school.

did not even know there was a Hoover Sun poll, but I did respond to survey monkey poll

Yeah this is seperate from the school system's Survey Monkey "poll." I'm glad the Sun did one, because this will get the message through to the City Council.
ETA: Seems obvious that this went over poorly, because the school board no longer has this included in the agenda for what they'll be voting on tomorrow. The original plan was to vote on all new rules proposals, including this one, on June 4.

The school system has way too many Admin and this is where this shite gets started...

If the Admins can do this to students, can parents monitor Admins and teachers also?
If it is against school policy to consume alcoholic beverages or to use drugs, or to have firearms in their possession, or say certain things on social media, it should apply to them also.
Nail their asses and lets see how long this policy lasts.
