Then posse comitatus doesn't apply to the military.
Sure it does, but that doesn't prevent the NG being used for different functions.

Tell them they can't charge PFC chuckle nuts with a DUI.
Now you are just showing how stupid you are and also showing your disrespect for the military with the way you commented.
Of course anyone in the military can be charged with a DUI or any other crime or violation. But using your scenario of a PFC driving drunk. Not will he be charged in a civillian court under civillian laws but he will also be charged in a military court under UMCJ.

Hmmm… pretty much everyone I know that WAs an active member of the military stated they were taught to not follow unlawful orders while in boot camp.
Correct, but what is being insinuated by the Left is that all of Trump’s orders are illegal- because the way they FEEL about them AND him, not because they violate the Constitution.
When they talk about prosecuting those who follow his orders, once they get back into power, the military remember what they did to the 1/6 folks or how they invented charges to get Trump. Trump is rich, he could fight it. Most folks? Not so much.
What they said, without saying it is- “you better not do anything Trump says anymore, because, if you do, we will find you and we will throw you in jail for the rest of your life.”
This is the chaos they’re trying to create. A military that can’t act on orders, but hesitates due to political repercussions, is effectively a dead military.
Now, they’ll deny it, and so will those who support their cause, but that’s what they’re doing- “if you don’t think like us, we will get you.”

quote:correct. It is intentional and direct subversion aimed at our military. It had no other purpose since they could not, and still can not, point to an illegal order.

Whether it was a 'call to arms' of the 'resistance' (their word) is debatable. But one could tie together their past calls to resist, fight, etc. with this video and the subsequent actions of a terrorist who traveled from a state who touted their "Trump proofing" to commit that act.
And don't forget: a 4* General contacted an adversary to tell them IF Trump decided to act he would not follow orders and faced zero consequences.
They know there are no consequences for these actions. So they will indeed continue to escalate.
