eta - after reading the thread it seems we both have the same idea - comparing the KKK to BLM.
You are correct, sir. I am drawing a parrallel between the rise of the KKK in the 19th centruy and the rise of BLM today. Both were/are violent, racist terrorist organizations. My point is that I used to wonder how a group like the KKK could rise up in a great country like America, where most people are decidedly NOT racist. Now that I am watching the rise of BLM in real time, I understand how the KKK could come into being.
