I read a SAP declassified document from the early '80s.
Synopsis: the Russians can roll through Europe and we can do nothing to stop them. They have the same information and the only thing keeping them from rolling is that they do not believe their own intelligence. That's some good info to have at a negotiating table.
Maybe we are not as worried about her, rather what information was left on the server.
Trade negotiation tactics, military capabilities in the SCS, lists of under-cover agents, intelligence gathering capabilities. This kind of information effects you directly, especially if one of your kin is serving on a DDG in the SCS, parked under a 10Kt air-burst.

You are correct, what difference at this point does it make? Hillary exposes state secrets to our foreign enemies, with one of the results being that the Chinese rolled up (dead or imprisoned) an entire intelligence network. But who cares, not you. "But her emails," right?
