This is not true for all vets receiving benefits.
That is true for TDIU (total disability individual unemployability) rated vets.
There are plenty of service connected Vets up to and including 100% that work full time jobs with no loss in benefits.

And my comment is in no way a snub to the vets that obviously are 100% disabled, however if you are of sound, mind, body, able to hunt and fish, do yard work, work a regular government supplied job due to your “disability rating” and carry on in life with zero complications, that’s just not 100% disabled. It’s just not.
Now the guy in the wheelchair, or ones with obvious brain trauma, ones with prosthetic devices and all other debilitating issues are 100% disabled and no issues with that.
But 10 yrs after being discharged, and you hurt your back or your knee starts hurting in no way should add % to your disability rating, but it does and it happens every day.
