Say what you want about the new Alabama and Georgia abortion laws, but to me its pretty damn clear that with states like New York and Virginia pushing for late term abortions up to and after birth this kind of legislation wasn't far behind. When you push hard to the extreme left, you will naturally find a hard push in the opposite direction because people who were complacent and just going about their lives are suddenly forced start paying attention. The NY and Virginia laws were the result of whack job lefties and their insane desire to protect abortions at all costs, and as a result the right has gone full throttle for protecting life at all costs.

Art of the Deal. Anchoring in Negotiations. Don't give an inch, ask for a mile, take a football field.

The GA bill isn't "extreme right" at all, though.
There's something like a dozen exceptions in it for allowing an abortion.
This whole thing is silly. This entire subject should be a state-by-state issue anyways.
You live in Alabama and got pregnant from a rape? Drive 2 hours to Georgia and get your legal abortion. The GA law gives a very clear exemption for rape victims.
There's also several other states bordering Alabama that don't have a law like this at all.
And ultimately, if the entire Southeast were to pass similar laws, and you don't like them, THEN MOVE YOUR LEFTY arse OUT WEST OR NE.

And there it is. I never once saw you proclaim after birth abortions as “extreme” though it’s possible I might have missed it. However, you have no issues with labeling a bill extreme that attempts to protect life. Congratulations on proving my point because as I said in the op protecting abortions at all costs results in protecting life at all costs.

Explain.
Aside from people who purely want to use abortion as a contraceptive device, who in GA can't get an abortion?
