For all of you that work at a place that uses the public cloud

To host your infrastructure, let what happened to Parler be a warning to you and your IT staff that you should probably bring your apps and services back on-premise. Now is a good time to make that investment, since nobody is buying hardware, these OEMs are giving shite away.
At the very least you should be backing your cloud hosted services and data locally and have enough warm infrastructure to run at partial capacity.
Jackass CIOs with “cLoUd-FiRsT” initiatives are sweating bullets right now in board meetings when they’re being asked “hey can azure/gcp/aws really nuke 90% of our business operation just because of political disagreement?”
The answer is, and has always been “yes”.

We have a hybrid cloud, can easily break off/cut the circuit as needed. So yeah, I'm sure cloud only companies are having second thoughts or are starting to look for datacenter floor space.

Guarantee you there is some new language going in contracts and those that accept it get the business.
