Interesting development

In the senate and house bills, the tax bill only allowed property tax deduction up to 10k.

Now, if you don't pay 10k in prop taxes and still itemize, you'll be allowed to use any of that excess deduction on salt

For example, jimmy itemizes and pays 6k in property taxes. Instead of not being able to deduct any SALT, he'll be able to deduct 4k

Can’t fix stupid.

If you can’t figure out

X+Y= 10,000 when you have the X value then you aren’t gonna be able to figure much out.

So again, this portion is a raise on taxes to the wealthy and a tax break to lower middle class
