Follow me on this for at least the first few lines before skipping to the red arrow.
I remember an exchange many years back with him wherein I asserted the primary difference between him and “us” as that he distrusts corporations while we distrust the state. He may remember this.
Here we are. It is the corporation- not the state- that has censored voices.
It is the corporation- not the state- that has ruined livelihoods for expressing opinions.
It is the corporation- not the state- that has suppressed dissenting opinions and left little to no legal recourse due to the intertwining of companies.
And here we are, wondering how we got to the point and where to go next. Our only rational appeal is to a state solution; some sort of legislation expressly forbidding certain practices.
This is however fundamentally impossible without some sort of constitutional overhaul, which will then open Pandora’s box.
We are currently in “check”.

It’s actually worse than that. They are different enough to cover the others weaknesses.
The state protects the corporations right to stifle while the corporation is immune from many constitutional limitations to which the state is beholden.

There's a name for that system of government. That system also includes interventionist foreign policy and a strong central government...

Corporations realize that 13% of the population isn’t enough to affect their business. But 40-50% is.

What we have is the opposite of fascism.. A fascist state would rule over the corporations for the good of society as in "you won't push that tranny shite on the population and you can't ban right wingers from your platform or payment processors"
Yeah. Fascists are the only people who could legitimately fight the freak show that we are currently suffering under.
Conservatism is a joke that will never do anything but lead people to the slaughter.
