Of course he is, and? Landry is a lawyer politician. I want him to fight against federal over reach, not teach my kid's Sunday school class

A lot of it begins with local and state governments where individuals still have a chance to make a difference.

Then repeal/modify/amend the 17th Amendment so that Senators are appointed by state legislatures and serve at their pleasure as it was intended originally.

Jeff Landry is a lot like Donald Trump. He's exactly right on his policies and tough enough to get it done t not going to backdown or take shite from those who are evil or weak.

I am all for Jeff Landry. Malone is right. We don't need a nice guy. we need a warrior and a Patriot.

I like your enthusiasm, and partly agree with you....but it is Landrys race unless something drastic changes.

He mentions two names of men who have displayed a combative mindset against Wash, DC. One is obvious...Ron Desantis.
The other is Jeff Landry of La.

Well, there's something to be said for 50 % accuracy.

Would've preferred Landry show some of this "combative mindset" during the forced monument crisis we experienced here.

Instead, he disappeared along with Nungesser like Mandrake the Magician during the height of it with not one solitary public statement on it.

When it was all over and those priceless monuments were housed in the makeshift structure that will be gone with the next substantial hurricane, they both reappeared like two wide-eyed Meerkats after the threat was over.

With at least Nungesser promising to actively search for someone to accept them where they would be safe from the dregs.

The monuments are still there.

Presently, am considering Schroder.

Separate from the cultural issues which we can never call in advance with any of these guys, at least financially he knows where the bodies are buried and would at least work toward putting us on a better financial footing.

Same argument for Vitter. How did that election go?

That's recently. He's built up his run for governor.

The last 3 years may be considered recently but these recent years have also changed our priorities.

Jeff Landry is one of the very few who fought government overreach and the blatant infringements on our constitutional rights… unlike the barking chihuahuas like Cruz and Kennedy who say a lot of shite we want to hear but have no bite.

3 years ago we never dreamed the govt would force people to stay home, close businesses and try to force a social experiment injection on the population.
