The focus needs to be to make somewhat middle of the road cities (Cities like Miami, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Tampa, Jacksonville, Charlotte, San Jose, San Diego, Phoenix, Kansas City) as safe as possible while letting the 100% democrat controlled cities outside of DC (New York, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, New Orleans, Portland, Atlanta, Orlando, Birmingham) absolutely crumble and succumb to crime.
Let all of America see what happens in Republican controlled areas with reasonable laws and support for law enforcement, as well as state NG when needed, compared to Democrat controlled areas.
People in New York, Chicago, LA, San Francisco want to be Democrat controlled? Let them suffer the consequences of their actions.
It's well past time to stop trying to protect these cities from themselves.

If you read my comment you would have saw where I said South Atlanta has problems. I don't know many people that intentionally go into south Atlanta. 75% of crimes in Atlanta are in South Atlanta - the only part of Atlanta they have not gentrified yet
Mechanicsville, Grove Park, Adair Park, Vine City, Oakland City, etc - not many people are traveling to these areas to catch a dinner and a movie
