has expanded its investigation to include 8 of the largest grocers when it comes to beef affordability.
@ASGWoodward
sent letters to the following regarding the recent increases in the retail price for beef:
-Kroger
-Publix
-Walmart
-Albertsons
-Aldi
-Ahold Delhaize USA
-Costco
-Amazon
Beef prices are a critical concern to Americans, and a priority for this Justice Department.

Walmart should be investigated for the discrepancies in their advertised weights vs what the food actually weighs. It has been an issue for a long time. People are getting ripped off.

They're not investigating the retailers, they're asking for information about their wholesale pricing from the meat packing oligarchy. Retailers are not the target, Tyson, Smithfield, etc. are.

Costco's ribeyes are vastly over-priced. I don't even find them to be a good cut. Usually lack marbling, with just a glob of fat in the middle.. Rouse or Oak Point for me.
