He had some of the most vigilant, observant, slick handlers from Hawaii to Russia, to Chicago grooming and guiding him, who were able to read a nation's collective psyche over many years of studying it.

They guessed that it was the most advantageous time to make their move against a populace that they believed had indicated the level of malleability and acceptance they had been waiting on patiently.

But even with all the expertise that went into his grooming, that they were able to place him into the nation's highest position - considering his shadowy past and curious gaps in his chronology, along with his associations - it is more a reflection on the ones who couldn't get in the booths fast enough to hit the kiosks for him than anything else.

Which basically means that it could happen again.

The evidence? That a nation's voters went from electing the closest thing we've ever had to a Manchurian Candidate, to a mentally defective American version of Hindenburg and Bavaria's King Ludwig II.

So the problem is less who's running than who's voting.

So no, it can't be stopped. Not as how the nation is constituted presently.
