If by "crisis" you mean half the country is placated and the other half is melting down, sure.
The people in power are happy as they're getting exactly what they want and what the useful idiots in this country are always eager to give them.

Nope. We have to go through a struggle to roll things back to normal. This will be a cultural shift that seems painful but it will be like a deep massage that looks painful and feels great.
