I don't get it. You had an AD who got bent over by an agent and HC and cost the University tens of millions of dollars on 2 coaches in a row. LSU doesn't have a president at the moment, so the governor stepped in and made sure the AD couldn't screw over the University on the next hire.
Which part was bad?
The contract wasn't anything out of the ordinary. If you want an established big time head coach, this is the type of contract that will be involved in todays college football.
Scott Woodward didn't add the contract extension at A&M(which screwed A&M)it was the AD that replaced him.
Obviously, Kelly was a bust but he did a pretty good job with his baseball and womens basketball hires...... just sayin
