DJT has been everything I hoped he would be

He is truly enema this country needed. I voted for him against my own concerns. I don't like his childish tweeting. I think he may be a poor policy maker.However, he's going to destroy the American Right and Left.
Anecdotal evidence, but I know multiple liberals who are almost as appalled by the behavior of the media, politicians and activists since the election as they are with the actions of DJT. I think they are starting to have some kind of come to Jesus moment. The left won't be able to put forth a disciplined resistance. They will splinter because their interest groups agenda's don't align and the cracks are already beginning to show.
The media is going to break itself and lose what the diminishing audience it already has. It is going to completely burn itself up with the daily deluge of scandal and crap news.
The right will finally have to come to grips with its own hypocrisy as well. For far too long, we've had too many big government republicans waving the banner of "conservatism". I don't think he will do it on purpose but every move DJT makes is going to put people to public ideological tests. We're about to separate the wheat from the chaff.
My hope is that we finally see the end of the two-party system and the media that enables it.

Won't happen anytime soon. There are too many people still deeply rooted in both parties. If fact, I expect Trump to further divide the two sides to the point that they'll both be gunning for him.

This is what got Donald Trump elected in the first place. Middle Class America wants to put food on the table for their families, not be race baited by a bunch of elitists.

And the media's hold over the public was already diminishing due to the online diffusion of information giving people the option to self-select and customize their sources of intake as they see fit. This isn't an unmitigated good, FWIW.

Right. But the Dems are doubling down on the racism and gays memes. And my own anecdotal evidence, informed by Facebook, says the liberal adherents are lock step in the "trump is hitler" psychosis. Thank god people in the rust belt decided jobs were more important than worrying about tranny bathrooms and Muslim outreach.
