Maybe not rich, but I had a career that probably paid less than what he made year by year, and at his age was worth twice that. Yale undergrad for anyone from a middle class family is free or close to free, all the Ivy Leagues have huge amounts of money for aid. He was Navy JAG for 6 years, the pay is pretty good. It just doesnt add up, and reminds me of a governor that most assumed was wealthy when in reality had a relatively low net worth because he got everything he wanted through crooked deals involving his state's assets, Edwin Edwards.
