It just amazes me that half of this country is 100% on board with a thinly veiled coup attempt. I fricking hated Obama, but he was the elected president, and elections have consequences. When your response to losing is finding a million bullshite ways to impeach your opponent, you've completely lost all goodwill and credibility. If Republicans acted 2% as nuts as the Dems, the MSM would be destroying then every second of the day.

The Constitution requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate to convict, and the penalty for an impeached official is removal from office.

Not sure. If their plan does not include the Senate then they are unable to move forward. I agree with the post earlier in the thread. Have a winning agenda and win elections.

Mike Pence would be a terrible president, but he is not unfit for office in the way that Trump is. Pence would have better chance at winning in 2020 than Trump would (although that isn't saying much) but still, the country and the world would be safer with Pence as POTUS than a total incompetent like Trump.
