While not practical I'm not a big fan of government having the right to death over people. I feel like it will be abused and innocent people will be sentenced to death.
Overall this to me is an I don't care type of thing. Biden didn't make me like him more but I also don't dislike him more. Just another on a long list of stuff that happened on while he was president.

They are not being released. Their sentence is being commuted to life without parole.

I don't understand the thought process. So if somebody raped and murdered children, they deserve to be spared, but if they killed somebody based on race or religion, they still deserve death. What is the message? And this is coming from a president who droned children in a failed attempt to look tough on terrorism for political purposes.
And from a completely logical perspective, if somebody gets life without parole, they should be executed anyway. You are taking their life from them either way, they can no longer contribute positively to society, and they are essentially a waste of resources. What is the point of keeping them alive? If we can so easily diminish the value of the life of an unborn baby, certainly we can do so to a person in prison for murder.

No talk of the victims and their families, NONE!

I can only imagine the shock and pain to the victims’ families, who hopefully had or begun to have closure. I haven’t been alive forever, but in my lifetime I don’t ever recall a flurry of last minute pardons to this amount. Everyone has to stand on the decisions they make one day, and I am glad I’m on my own ground, and not the ground of the individuals making these decisions.

It’s pretty easy to not get the death penalty for murdering someone.
Step one, don’t murder anyone
Come back later for more common sense advice

Of course. Just like you didn't care when you found out Biden molested his own kid.
You're a sick frick, just like the rest of your progressive ilk. You see this as a win.

Oh! Ok. Thanks, I appreciate the correction, Nurbis!

If he's too senile to stand trial for piles of national security violations, influence peddling and such, how can he be competent enough to issue pardons?

Anyone who agreed with Pedo Joe's decision to commute the death sentences needs to go to a meeting of Parents of Murdered Children. Listening to the grief and anguish that will never go away should help them understand why capital punishment is necessary.
