No way CNN survives its low ratings without its corporate overlords, similar at MSNBC I'm sure.

Should we pass legislation whereas "news" media needs to be non-profit and cannot be owned by for profit corporations.

This likely forces more transparency and balance in reporting as they will have to attract more viewers. Also this would allow natural selection to take its course.

All of the major corporate social media accounts have been coming out in support of the protest.

We already know where they stand.

Na, let them continue to waste their money. Real journalism today is done by 24 year olds with a go-pro and a YouTube/twitter account. The dinosaurs will eventually die.

Because there is soooo much transparency in The Clinton Foundation?

I like your sentiment but there is a ton of fraud perpetrated in non-profits. Also, the taxpayers would end up funding them, just like PBS.

Time and CNN would have been distant memories had it not been for the ATT Monopoly. CrapCast and NBC/MSNBC are a match made in hell.
