Practically, because even though they are playing a part in the DC stageshow....at least their part is more bearable for the people. When Dems are in charge, we have rapid social decay. Maybe its best just to get us to a breaking part sooner rather than later...I could probably be sold on that

On a federal level, it currently seems to be pointless. It's not entirely pointless as the do nothing Rep majority tends to slow down Marxism for a time.
More importantly is local elections. I really wish that true conservatives would take local, state elections more seriously. That's where the change needs to happen. That's where you can change who counts federal election votes, etc.
