I think the vast majority of career criminals (10 years or more as a criminal) are nearly impossible to rehabilitate in the traditional sense, the only exception I would add are the career criminals who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The individual has to truly become a new creature in Christ with the Holy Spirit guiding their lives.
