Conservatives need to hijack the green movement and its production sources.

The liberals have hijacked this technology to be used on the macro scale setting up an infrastructure of control using smart grid tech. This smart grid will eventually be used to control how you choose to use electricity in your own home.
Additionally, alternate energy sources work best on the personal level. If conservatives and libertarians were smart they would push this tech on the micro scale for single family homes.
They should also remove laws on the state level like we have in NC that mandate personal alternate energy sources provide power directly to the grid which on paper eliminates the opportunity to live off grid.
For to long we have let these loons steal this tech to 'save the planet' (control the people). We need to steal it back and rebrand it as self reliance and independence.

“Green energy” is more unreliable and expensive. It only survives because of government mandates and subsidies. Neither of these are conservative values.
Finally, there are only 2 “green” energy sources, geothermal and nuclear. Wind chops birds and bats, hydroelectric stops fish migrations, and solar power depends upon rare earths mined in China that creates real kill you dead pollution not baby’ Breath CO2.

As I stated, it is unreliable on a mass scale. I see it used in my profession on a personal level all the time to reduce electric usage resulting in cheaper electric bills for the home owner. You do not know what you are talking about.
Self reliance is hallmark to libertarian philosophy and once was for conservatives. So to restate my point, since it went over your little head: Alternate fuel sources in the hands of individuals, not mass production, promotes freedom.
