Not a big fan of MBS or dictatorship. In my own humble opinion, here what could happen with sanctions against Saudi Arabia:

1- Oil price will skyrocket 130$+ a barrel. They will team up with Russia, and make life miserable for consumers.

2- They will start buying weapons from and will shift political allegiance to Russia and China. This will tremendously decrease our influence in the middle east.

3-Stop anti-terror collaboration and fuel the Taliban insurgency.

Cuck Rubio needs to thing about consequences.

I say Leave the hell them alone.

Politician won't let it happen. Too much power and influence to ignore in the ME.

Trump can't do it alone.

Alone? Isnt the hidden genius solving peace in the middle east?

Oil is too important and has been for a century to walk out of the ME.

would love to leave that cesspool but would be a disaster to the world to do so.

Russia hates the Saudis. They are largely responsible for ISIS in Syria.

It won’t be that easy as you say.

Here you go:

negotiate: verb

1.obtain or bring about by discussion.
2.find a way over or through (an obstacle or difficult path).

I don't see anything in there about bombing your opponent to smithereens.

“I don’t want to get into the time game,” he said at a news conference late in the day, after serving as chairman of a United Nations Security Council meeting on nuclear proliferation. “I got all the time in the world,” Mr. Trump said. “I don’t have to rush it. If it takes two years, three years or five months,”

So much for maximum pressure and a short timeline.. especially compared to the Iran deal that he has been critical of

I think you are reading what you want to read into trumps statements. What of his actions or words shows he wants to stay out of it?

Its the right call. He just made promises he couldn't keep. Glad it turned out this way tbh. Lasting change is more likely if south korea drives the ship

“I know they’re [Senators] talking about different kinds of sanctions, but they’re [Saudi Arabia] spending $110 billion on military equipment and on things that create jobs, like jobs and others for this country. I don’t like the concept of stopping an investment of $110 billion into the United States.”

We can't act like we aren't very good at killing people ourselves, can we?

CIA has eliminated more dissidents and risks than will ever be known. We've overthrown, through CIA interference, multiple governments at considerable loss of life and turned a blind eye towards it.

frick everyone else. If that's the way they operate, so be it. Check out how we're making peace with North Korea. Kim had his half-brother tracked down and killed with poison. Are we not going to work with him, or not? Of course we are.
