I have said for decades now that we send good people into politics and they come back politicians.

Their skills are in scheming to enrich themselves.

Congress has been embarrassing for a long time.

Just like the Republicans did Clinton with the bengazhi hearings. Trey gowdy and a bunch of other had a two year investigation of that s**t.

Really? How does it blow up anything? Declining to participate in a sham doesn't make it any less a sham.

The top two reasons Repubs in Congress are saying the Inquiry is a sham:

1) It's not constitutional, which is wrong and explicitly defended by the US Constitution;

2) The Dems are not allowing the Repubs to participate or have their say (vote) on the process...

Here is one particular Repub who has a window to participate, and he's willfully voiding it...

"oh, you won't allow me to eat what I want to eat, or the way I want to eat it - I'll show you by starving myself..."

stupidity....

Election interference, plain as day, masquerading as a legal maneuver

This whole secret hearing thing is a clown show. The entire thing has turned into the Jerry Springer Show
This deal with Schiff allowing GOP members to only ask certain questions makes my head spin. I did not know this was even possible.

They absolutely have the votes. Every single Democrat in the House will vote to impeach.

This whole take down Trump has gone from the dems trying to disqualify him for election to now they are purely undermining our government with this charade.

History will look back at Trump like Lincoln and build statues in his honor as one of our greatest presidents

This didn't start yesterday. The biggest mistake was not pushing back at the first signs of this lunacy. It set a precedent. Democrats truly believe that if you don't say "no", then it's ok. They believe it's the responsibility of Republicans to tell them what is ok or not ok. Since there was no push back in the early stages of this "disease", then it's the Republican's fault. In reality, Republicans were being patient and respectful to the other side in accordance with the 2-party system as intended by the framers.
