When did Hannity jump back on top over Maddow?

February or March, IIRC.

(ETA: Maddow won the first quarter battle, overall, by like 58k or so, average, but I think Hannity was starting to beat her pretty consistently - certainly by March or so, it appears.)

600 is probably CNN’s baseline simply due to airport TVs hardly anyone watches.

I think CNN just a few years ago was the standard station that would be on in a bar, airport, etc. They never had the ratings of Fox but they were the safe public choice.

I think now the culture has gotten so politicized and CNN has gotten so bad that a lot of places now have both MSNBC and Fox on to satisfy both side.

CNN lost their place in the center left when they went full whack job about Trump.

Did she EVER beat him for more than a few nights? A quarter at most?

I honestly think the worm turning on the Russian collusion story is the driving factor. Everyone rushed to Madcow when the public was still in the dark about the truth of what was going on.

Major revelations have red pilled the public whose perception is now dramatically changing according to polling.
