CMS Rule was published at same time as OSHA ETS yesterday...

The only person in the entire country that seems to have the pulse on this is Ron (Reagan 2.0) Desantis.
I'm fairly certain that this OSHA deal will be gutted even before SCOTUS would even have to take it up. But the real Trojan Horse that has the most terrifying outreach is the CMS Rule. At the heart of it, it takes a direct federal reimbursement $ mechanism and completely weaponizes it against healthcare facilities/nursing homes et al. It also weaponizes state Medicaid dollars due to federal matching.
So extrapolate this workaround out and it becomes pretty clear that if the CMS Rule survives, it won't be long till it trickles down to anything involving federal $ payments/reimbursements etc like social security monthly pmts just to name one.
I know OSHA is the hot ticket item, but CMS is the Keyser Soze boogeyman that no one seems to notice.

I don’t know what the rule is but I’m guessing mandating nursing home employees get vaccinated
I don’t like mandates, it’s bull shite but I will say it’s also total bullshite that weekly testing & employees constantly testing positive are keeping vaccinated people from visiting their vaccinated family members in nursing homes
I’d say I’ve been able to visit my Grandpa in his room less than 10 times since 3/11/20

If you get CMS dollars your staff needs to be vaccinated, no testing, no exemptions . Applies to clinical and back office staff. This is what was expected, have not got to read the final rule.

Yep, that's it. Imo the CMS Rule has a 50/50 shot of surviving but the OSHA deal is less than 1%. I just have a really, really bad feeling as someone that works in this industry and I've seen first hand all the bullshite that CMS has gotten away with over the years. Bullshite like issuing "memos" and trying to disguise it as regulations, then when called on it they (CMS) advise on not having any record of such. Or changing definitions (like Fauci changing "gain of function") literally on a Sunday and then issuing memos to skilled nursing facilities on a Monday. The list goes on.

The red state governors should say "frick your Medicaid" and cancel the programs - laying down the marker that will be the response to each additional effort with other federal funds.
Then, when the recipients start bitching about "no healthcare," you direct them to DC, because that's where the problem is.
