Yes, it’s under DOE. However, the DOE model is to have a maintenance and operating contractor like Fluor or Battelle run the site as a separate LLC (from the mothership) with a much smaller footprint of feds conducting operational oversight. My guess is these folks all work for a contractor. Brouliette as S1 would still get involved.
