The Chinese markets are up today.
US futures are all up with the exception of oil.

Might be time to buy some MP Materials stock.
quote:
MP Materials Corp. is an American rare-earth materials company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. MP Materials owns and operates the Mountain Pass mine, the only operating rare earth mine and processing facility in the United States. MP Materials focuses its production on Neodymium-Praseodymium (NdPr), a rare earth material used in high-strength permanent magnets that power the traction motors found in electric vehicles, robotics, wind turbines, drones and other advanced motion technologies. MP Materials is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "MP".

No good reason we shouldn’t be able to mine these at a competitive rate.. doesn’t mean we shouldn’t buy from china but relying on them is a huge problem.
Other than the fact that we don’t have as much of them here to begin with when it comes to certain ones. Most of you seem to think the US has everything in our land. Newsflash! We don’t!
That is the issue. The assumption that we have these things easily accessible and it’s just a bunch of eco-nut jobs stopping us from getting them is ignorant beyond belief.
Again, American consumerism is what allowed them to get this much influence. Instead of living within our means and with our needs, this society wants everything and wants the next and greatest right away.
People changing cell phones every three years is ridiculous, and that is longer than the average.
In the end, you have to work with other people, but that’s not what you want. You want them to give you everything and expect nothing, which is typical egotistical western society.

As much as what mineral? We have rare earth raw materials on an unknown scale..
Extracting them will take time, thus why we shouldn’t be reliant on china completely.. fair trade of materials requires leverage and the ability to scale up production/mining of these materials provides us more leverage and security to negotiate
