I don't think "we" is accurate here.

of course everyone supports opening the Strait and stopping the nuclear program.
These questions are retarded.

This conflict was 100% necessary.....no other way to manage Iran.
They are bad for the world.

What is important to do IN the war doesn’t equate to “overwhelming support” FOR the war. You’re a fricking retard.

we can disagree with each other.
This word is doing a lot of lifting...disagreeing with a thoroughly reasoned point is (rare around here) different than disagreeing with a generic troll making the same tired argument without context

The RNC is crowing that “Americans overwhelmingly support Trump’s goals in Iran.” That’s spin, and we should demand better from our own side.
Yes, people support goals like stopping a nuclear weapon and freeing the Iranian people — who wouldn’t? But support for abstract goals is not the same as support for this war. The same CBS poll shows most Americans disapprove of the military action itself and think it isn’t going well. Multiple other polls — Reuters/Ipsos, YouGov/Economist, CNN — show similar or worse numbers.
More importantly: the administration still hasn’t clearly explained what “winning” looks like. Regime change? Verified denuclearization? A deal? Without a defined exit strategy, we’re repeating the exact mistakes conservatives rightly criticized in Iraq and Afghanistan. Endless, open-ended conflicts with fuzzy objectives are not America First — they’re the swamp in uniform.
Real conservatives ask hard questions of their own leaders. Trump said he’d end wars, not start new ones. Hold him to it.
