Let me try to help you understand then. During the election, most of the people that dabble in politics but spend most of their time either on the rant, OT, ODB, etc came here because they were inspired to do so and it was convenient to check in. Now that Trump is in, they don't really care anymore about disputing with the dems. So in short, yeah the poli board right now is probably mostly liberal dems, but that's just because they are mad and trying to fight Trump because he beat Hillary and they are butt hurt.

True, but he was clearly an exception to the rule. For one thing, nobody would keep up a charade like that for that long. Secondly, he could be intensely passionate about his beliefs. Hence, multiple banning ( not that he was the only one to experience that).

Several consistant liberal posters. It seems many are one hit wonders who do the splash and dash only trying for a gotcha post with no follow up or personal opinions on the topic.
While I am not a habitual poster I do follow the board more than I should and do not agree with most of their viewpoints.
Having said that, I do enjoy and appreciate those who actually put the effort into sharing their own point of view on the topic at hand. That certainly lends for a different perspective on the topic and helps understand their position.

I never paid any attention to this place, stuck to SEC and Gaming all these years. This place to me was mostly for that. Anything else, I went to larger forums.
But on a whim, sometime around the inauguration, I clicked here.
Now, I'm used to the crazy shenanigans of SEC rant, and I'll give ya'll credit. Bama fans and LSU fans have fellowship here, together. It's just sad that it's in the neverending belief of a thin skinned con-man. It's puzzling, watching tons of people jump through hoops made out of tin.
But hey, I don't understand how anyone can be a Tennessee fan, but they just exist. Can't do anything about that, either.
Maybe with his constant crazy tweets, which lead to constant cries for investigations, it'll just end up being 4 years of "Governmental Shutdown" and maybe that's just for the best. But maybe, that's exactly how the Russians win, which going by a topic from today, more people than I'd thought would be ok with that.
So I continue to be completely confused by this place.

I considered myself liberal a decade ago. I'm embarrassed about that. The Left has gone so nuts that I do believe they want to turn the country into a third world communist shithole.

I miss intellectual "conservatives". Maybe you need to teach half the board how to write a coherent sentence. Its all about posting a link to a Right wing tabloid and everyone else states a half-brained response. PT is a very conservative board.
