Absolutely, and my kid and his/her boss were fighting ObamaCare all the way. My kid was living in VA at the time, but had to buy on the DC exchange. All I'm saying is that it's not some sort of special privilege.

Any Member of Congress can put their staff on FEHB if they chose to. The only one I read about actually doing it was Harry Reid though. I'm sure others have but I haven't read about it.

How old is your kid? Could he not be on your plan?

You keep telling these posters the facts, and they don't want to listen.

Unreal. My kid was paying through the nose for the gold plan on the DC exchange when they were living in VA.

Nope. Too old now, and when they first got out of school, he/she found a catastrophic plan-this was pre-Obamacare.
Out of principal we wouldn't put he/she on our policy.
ETA I don't think they would have allowed he/she to be on our plan if they had qualified.
