Between the interruptions during her questioning and her slow-walking her answers or being deliberately vague to require further follow up questions, feels little is being done but pretty sure some vital things have been established to lead to something else.

is doing a good job???
It is not a courtroom. It is political theater. The attorney so far is awful.

Supposed fear of flying . . . has flown across the Pacific many times. Flew to Delaware many times. But the point was not drilled home.

100% certain it was Kavanaugh and Judge even though she would have to know of incidents where PTSD memory conflation leads rape victims to badly misidentify assailants. But the point was not drilled home.

She claims 3 boys 1 girl, then 4 boys, then maybe more people, maybe not. No idea who the house belonged to. But the point was not drilled home.

She claims to have felt unsafe to be around Kavanaugh and Judge, yet she left her best friend alone with them. But the point was not drilled home.

She has no idea who paid for her lie detector test. But the point was not drilled home.

Unless the woman pulls this thing together, the Committee has done Kav a huge disservice with this hearing.

She's building her case. She's already shown that Ford isn't a great witness. I'm confident it's only going to get better as she proceeds.

I agree she is building her case, but I can tell that her style is not to take a victory lap when she scores. For those expecting her to do see a Matlock moment, I think they are going to be disappointed.

I think Ford lied her arse off about there not being other trauma in her life, I would have liked to have seen the atty press her on that - unless she is setting her up to impeach her testimony later in the day.

I also am going to be disappointed if she does not press her more about how she traveled to and from the party. How did she get the ride? Her good female friend and she never spoke again about the event after she left suddenly?
How did she get a ride? Call someone? Hitchhike?

I think that she got the testimony she needed, everyone knows the significance.

I'm also guessing that her testimony will used in Kav's questioning to show how she is not credible. Having her go first was the right thing to do.

She is doing a terrible job. She should not be asking open ended questions. That's what prosecutors do to victims. She should be asking leading questions to establish the holes and inconsistencies. That's what defense lawyers do to victims.

For instance, when Ford said she couldn't remember how she got home, that was the perfect time for 5 full minutes of leading questions:

You didn't go back in the house, right?
We know Mark Judge didn't drive you, right?
We know Kavanaugh didn't drive you, correct?
Are you suggesting a concerned bystander saw you wandering the street? Or are you suggesting that someone from the party brought you home?

She needs to drill down on the obvious holes that SHOULD not be holes in an alleged traumatic incident like this.

Some dumbasses will tell you that it's going terribly. But she's doing awesome.

Her demeanor is polite and cordial. At the same time, she is dissecting Ford's story with the precision of a surgeon wielding a scalpel.

Is it fun to watch or providing "BOOM" moments? Not really. But it's better in the long run.

Some people would rather old Republican males to grill her in hostile fashion because it would be more satisfying to them at this moment.

They are the same type of people who would want a nose tackle to play QB because they "would totally truck people on a draw play."
