It would require a constitutional amendment. There is a process for doing so, but it would have to be passed with a 2/3s majority of both houses of Congress and ratified by 2/3 of all state legislatures. There's zero chance in hell of that because no matter how much the media and social media tries to obfuscate, Abortion just isn't THAT popular.

For it to be granted as a right...wouldn't it have to be made a constitutional amendment?

Laws make things illegal...ammendments grant rights.
