While not an expert on Cali law, I have read from trustworthy sources that a simple Gym Membership card can get you a vote in Cali.
In local elections, I can understand that State Law is primary. However, a Governor has some Federal power and should be subject to Federal laws.
If Hackberry, La wants to count 100,000 votes for mayor for the several thousand that live there, they should not be able to count those same 100,000 votes for Governor or any Federal Office.
Fix this shite before it gets any more out of hand.

Gym card not required. Against the law to ask for ID to vote

I know this sounds dumb to some, but Cali is proving why paper mail in ballots are a joke.
I would rather vote by machine on Election Day or early vote.
I know software maybe cheated, but paper ballots can have the same cheats when you allow Dick Tracey, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and other fictitious names to vote in batches of ballot drops days after the election with a signature of a smiley face.

I don’t think you even need a gym membership. Supposedly there’s is an opt out box under ID on the registration forms, and of course, no ID required to vote.
