Idk — one business FOX reported that had no insurance (thats on them of course). One business owner was a big guy and was in tears.
And then there’s what I’ve read here about if it’s terrorism/riots it may not be covered.

But what is there that an individual can do? Not arguing but seriously what can I myself do?
Oh and I hope you’re feeling better.

Tonight? Nothing to do but watch it burn, take good notes and decide what’s really, fundamentally important to you.
Tomorrow? Stand by what you decide is fundamentally important to you no matter how hard or how expensive or how personal it is.
These people get the cameras for a couple days and there are far, far more of us watching from home in horror. Don’t ever let them convince you they are the majority. They aren’t and they only get what our elected politicians are willing to give them. YOU decide if those politicians give too much or not and it might be hard to stick to your principles when you’re in the voting booth but... THATS what matters.
ETA And thanks

They certainly are in some cities.
Most intelligent and hard working people moved to the suburbs.

In how they want the country won. They are the minority.

It doesn't take a majority to screw up the whole. Look at history.
People will never be at peace. That is true even if there was only 1 race and one big world wide nation.
We sometimes get in fights at sporting events.
Put on your big girl panties. Your kids were born into the same kind of world we were.
People forget when kids were killed at Southern and Kent State. There is nothing happening that hasn't happened before.

Insurance riders typically don’t cover riots and civil insurrections.
Any broad form coverage be it for commercial or homeowners would cover SRCC coverage.

That’s simply wrong. Even the most basic BOP for small businesses lists damage from strikes, riots and civil commotions as a covered peril. And if it’s excluded then the insured either requested it to be so for a minimal premium saving or he has an action against his broker for deleting it,
