shrug
look up any of the countless debates we have had over the years regarding the church and abortion.
He has said more then once, left up to him birth control would be the next domino after making abortion illegal.

Wow, I don't remember that at all. Thanks for finding one crazy nut job (even if you couldn't link it). In all of the BC debates on this board, I've never seen this...ever. I've only met one person IRL that advocated for that who wasn't a catholic priest and they also were preaching in Free Speech Alley that gays were going to hell, Catholics worship Satan, and that college students are all evil heathens, so I don't really give much weight to his opinion. People like that should be shunned.
My personal opinion is that abortion is wrong.
However, my political opinion is that abortion and BC (and, in fact, nearly all issues) should be issues at the state level and completely outside of the jurisdiction of the federal government.

Yeah, sadly I have met more then one person like that in my life (including my starter wife). It's weird that there are people out there who still think this way.

Rape that results in pregnancy accounts for less than 1% of abortions although I believe there should be "exceptions" if the mothers health is at risk or situations like that. With that being said I am not against BC. Fact is 99% of those women chose not to use protection and chose to murder their child. To me if the mother wants to baby or not should not be grounds for if murder charges can be brought up. So it's legal for her to have the child killed because she doesn't want it but it's murder if a stranger kills the child. Makes zero sense.

When you blow your load in a condom did you murder your child?
How about when your girlfriend goes down on you?
This is no different.

"Not all women who chose abortion chose to get pregnant."
What? Did you mean most did not...? or 99% did not?
