Public education wasn't created to help the child. No one benefits from public education as much as the system insiders. Administration, faculty, support staff, maintenance, all benefit more than the child.

As noted previously, the Amish elementary schools are taught by junior high and high school girls, yet their students consistently test among the top in the state of PA.
