Shouldn’t “buy local” be promoted?

That Hank is a negative person that hates anything positive that unites some people? I don't.

They’d have to change the Spanish language.
I’m sure they think they’re all that and more;
but even progressives aren’t that powerful.

This is awesome stuff, but I can never find it locally. I’d love to get fresh Guanabana (soursop) like I did in Puerto Rico, but I can’t find that either. That’s some good stuff when juiced and chilled.

Their black beans are quite good.
Honduras trips ruined black beans for me. Every fricking meal there were black beans. Never was a fan of plantains but they cooked them more ways than Bubba Gump could cook shrimp. Every frigging meal. I used to like a good black bean soup but not care for any longer.

just picked up some of their black and red beans today as well(for the first time) - likely give the black ones a try with some ribs we are doing today.

I like to keep their Recaito and Sofrito on hand.
quote:

Goya Recaito, a unique cilantro-based seasoning. Goya sautés cilantro, green pepper, onion and garlic in olive oil to create this rich, thick base that enhances the flavor of your beans, rice, soups and stews.
quote:

This aromatic cooking base (Sofrito) combines the bold flavors of tomato, onion, green peppers, cilantro and garlic, saving you valuable prep time in the kitchen. A heaping spoonful of Sofrito added to soups and stews is a classic first-step ingredient to authentic Latino cooking.

Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry Goya products and even if they did they wouldn’t have an entire aisle of their stuff
