Sadly nothing surprises me any longer and what would surprise me would be if people actually make an effort to stand up against them because until now nobody on the right has done shite.

If I was one of the governors they tried this with, you can bet you arse that's what my Revenue Department would do.
I'd also order my state police to arrest any federal officer or employee that tried to take any adverse action against a citizen of my state (including a business) for "failure" to pay taxes.

This should’ve struck me as either humorous or insane. Or maybe it would have if I hadn’t thought something similar when I read “second week in August”, and if we hadn’t gone full clown world in the last 18 months.
All I can say is that at this point, the idea that I can’t quite seem to fully dismiss the timing as a head fake or a coincidence is so batshit crazy that it’s frankly awe-inspiring … yet somehow the possibility of Biden imposing a nationwide lockdown to thwart the MyPillow guy also seems slightly less implausible than things that have actually happened lately.
