I don't know if this point has been brought up with statistical evidence.

I did some research, and what I found was this:

Over the most recent 10 years with statistical information (2007-2016), about 21 police officers per year are killed feloniously by black people. https://ucr.fbi.gov/leoka/2016/tables/table-41.xls

There are roughly 750,000 police officers in the country.

That's a rate of 2.8 officers killed per 100,000 officers.

The police have killed an average of 20 unarmed black people over the past 2 years (2016-2017). https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/national/police-shootings-2017/?noredirect=on

There are 47.5 million black people in the U.S. based on the 2017 census.

That means unarmed black people are killed at a rate of 0.042 per 100,000 people.

That means police are killed by black people nearly 67x the rate that police kill unarmed black people.

So maybe it's the police who should be doing the kneeling and putting their fists in the air...

Black people kill every other subgroup more than any other, including other black people.

It's just the facts. Get upset about it if you want.

I research all kinds of things when I'm curious to know the answer to something.

You should try it sometime.

Blacks make up less than 15% of the total population of the US but commit around half of the total homicides (FBI classification: Murders and Non-negligent Manslaughter) in any given year.

These are data points that are known but the media never touches on when a Ferguson incident occurs. It's just one example of many of why more and more people no longer trust the media.
