You bring up a good point. The policies they wish to implement will inevitably cause those who are trained medical professionals to get around their policies, or quit altogether. We are already seeing this with some doctors accepting cash only. Will the government end up forcing doctors to do their jobs under these new policies? I ask because the supply of doctors willing to work at reduced rates and increased demand will surely decrease, unless they are forced to.

I support this as a voluntary program. If anybody feels the need to pay for the health care of others, they can make a voluntary payment to the US Treasury and make sure to tell them what the payment’s for.
But if the goal is to forcibly confiscate earnings from everybody who has earnings, the answer is hell no. Find something other than my paycheck to build your political platform.
Every major initiative that comes from the left is supported by collectivism. Every time. It’s the only trick they know.

Nothing that is taken in by the government will ever be used for what it was supposedly intended for. Take a look at gas tax if you want to see how bad it is. It’s supposed to go towards infrastructure and roads. But... it damn sure doesn’t.

Good point. Government makes about twice as much on a gallon of gas as the “rich oil companies” do. And why do we need a trillion $$ infrastructure bill with all that gas tax $$??

Let’s really delve into this. We pay taxes on every gallon of fuel we buy. We pay to have our vehicles registered and inspected on an annual or semi-annual basis. We pay taxes when we purchase our vehicles. And my personal favorite, we pay for toll roads that were built with the understanding that they would only operate as toll roads until the roads were paid for (which beckons the question as to where our taxes generated from fuel and vehicle purchases have gone), only for them to operate as toll roads forever.

Lord I hope, but I put nothing past Democrats. They elected obama when the only message of his campaign was; “hope and change”, and “yes we can”. Literally nothing else was ever said that had any meaning. And they elected him.

I had no idea it had gotten that bad. But this too will be ignored like so many of the other terrible lessons of socialism’s history have been.
