Depiction vs exploitation.

Ben clearly says the director exploits. There's a valid case to be made that in order to depict the issue of child sexualization, a movie can be made that is uncomfortable to watch. Fine.

But this movie does that, and then goes well over the line. ( my words )

Could this movie have been made that shocks the sensibilities, makes the case, yet doesn't cross the line?

Seems to me that's what Ben is saying here.
