He’s a gutless coward, so yes, a cuck.

The left is barreling 100mph towards socialism. Our last President just endorsed an open socialist and another came very close to winning the Democratic nomination. This isn't the time for civility and being the nice guys.

100% agree. If anything now's the time to stock up on arms for the big fight down the road. That's what I'm doing.

This is why I support people that would rather lead us away from this rather than further towards it. What is the real end game?

The end game is to hold off the leftists, even for a bit.

And then what? That isn't an end game, it's a willingness to avoid the question because you enjoy the partisan battle as entertainment.

I think we are past the point of no return. Do you see any road back to civility?

Yeah. Turn off cable news. Quit retreating to echo chambers. Engage personally with people with differing political views. Quit trying to win anonymous cultural wars among people you don't know via meme war fare.

Social media is more to blame than traditional media or message boards.

I would argue message board are social media, but they all have become part of the problem.

That wasn’t the time or place to say he preferred a different candidate. It’s gratuitous and bordering on narcissistic.

He pretends the charges are not political. He’s a politician giving a political speech while pretending it’s not politics. It’s insane.

Well at least you didn't call me a cuck or npc. I'll take that as a win.

I agree. And to get back to the main point - I think Trump needs to be called out when it's necessary. The bad budget deal, failing with healthcare, Sesssions as AG, increasing military spending, etc. Guys like Sasse and Shapiro tend to go after him for meaningless optics issues.

Sounds like you didn't listen to the whole speach or latched on to a disagreeable part in favor of missing the entire point.

Sasse is playing the game. The over the top McCain praise, the book tour, being on the fence with Kav, etc. He's going to run in 2024.
