ut I don't recall people complaining about others govt waste in govt offices in other administrations.

People complain about petty shite like that here and there but they aren't big issues so they tend to get forgotten

Just like no one will remember this years from now

$31K? 31,000 dollars?

Because that's our biggest worry.

Didn't Moochelle take a gubment plane to Italy and rent the top two floors of a swanky hotel for two weeks?

Didn't she take a bunch of family and friends with her?

I'm sure they all paid their own way.

Further evidence that Carson was a terrible choice for a cabinet spot. His campaign was nothing more than a glorified book tour. I respect his career as a surgeon but his political career has been a self-serving joke.

Drain the swamp and fire this clown.

Seeing how reading is apparently your thing: From Politico
quote:

He also sought to fix a conference table and chairs, but HUD staff determined that the furniture, purchased in 1967, was beyond repair. Career staff, without input from Carson or his wife, made the decision to spend $31,561 to purchase a new table, chairs and hutch, HUD spokesman Raphael Williams said. Other furniture in the office, including chairs and a sofa, was swapped out and replaced with old items stored in HUD’s basement. “Secretary Carson, to our knowledge, is the only HUD secretary to go to the sub-basement of his agency to select the furniture for his office,” Williams said.

So it wasn't a "dining set", it was career staff who ordered it, etc, just more lies from the Prog Filth.
