Picking up 30 seats in the House and still not controlling the Senate is not a wave.

Clinton and Obama lost way more that that after their first midterms in their presidency and both lost the House and Senate.

I think you are close on the House but with the seats up for election in the Senate it would take more than a wave for the Dems to pick up 4 seats. That would be miracle territory.

The Blue Wave is whatever CNN and MSNBC say they did good on.
